Fire Whale Listening to this post-rock creation I am walking in nature when everything becomes slow motion; the sun filters through the trees and gently saturates my view; I feel a warmth; I see the world in greater detail; I can trust that I'm headed on the right course. Favorite track: false point.

about

rem·i·nis·cence.

"written during the COVID-19 pandemic, "cloud beings" is what I consider the first inertial "release." all prior projects felt like "failed experiments" where the inner perfectionist in me felt this sense of im not there yet, or a lack of understanding myself. i continued to fail, (and fail..and fail) till I wrote what I consider to be centerpiece of the album, similar to those prog rock albums I fell in love with as a kid, "false point," where it just felt right. as I wrote the rest of what would be "cloud beings," i felt a sense of self that I had not felt before. music for me has always been an emotional thing, similar to Devin Townsend's view of music, and I believe this album to be an accurate representation of the time. being in several musical projects/bands, I had finally had a record of songs that were my own which reflected me. the cover was taken when I conceptualized the name of the album, hiking with my closest two friends, matthew and cameron (shout out SlugWeed) in new hampshire."

Thank you all for support of this project.

"A sprawling shoegazey, black metal-adjacent, prog rock album, Cloud Beings, is essential listening for any nutmegger that craves the beautiful, epic post-rock of the mid 2000s. Imaginative and technically proficient." - ctverses
